What we need:

• commentaries that are preferably 400-900 words
• op-eds that focus on peace, justice, or environmental issues
• pieces that appeal to, and are understandable by, average Americans
• opinion writing that promotes nonviolence, never any violence
• commentaries that no publication has paid for
• send to pcwtom@gmail.com as Word doc or in body of an email
• a tagline that conveys your appeal and possibly expertise or credentials to an American editor
• a photo–hedshot in American journalism parlance–of 200 kbs at maximum
• try to conform to Associated Press style, the norm in the US
• do not cite an AI source or summary, only verified sources (AI, said Noam Chomsky, is plagiarism software, and we have found that to be true)
• provide in-text links to credible documentation when making assertions (as with op-ed norms, no Reference list, nor footnotes)
